Cohort-based Leadership Development
We specialize in training young and middle-career leaders who are looking for the skills and mindsets that will stretch them beyond their current capacity. Our coaching approach accelerates leadership development by placing people in cohorts and creating safe spaces for leaders to practice vulnerability as strength.
Check out a couple of our signature cohort projects. The Blaze Forward Fellowship in partnership with California Children’s Trust supported emerging leaders in their early 20’s to develop the attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that unlock strong leadership practice.
Blaze Consulting Group serves as Lead Coaches and Anchor Partner to On The Verge, a 17 year old leadership experience that has boosted the effectiveness of nonprofit and public sector leaders throughout the State of California. With funding from the SH Cowell Foundation and the California Office of Child Abuse Prevention, we continue the work of developing and sustaining a pipeline of leaders for the human service field.
Youth Development Training
Jenjii and Franklin each bring 25 years of experience in strengthening youth development programs. Blaze Consulting Group provides professional development, capacity building, technical assistance, coaching and even keynotes to support youth organizations to deliver high quality, impactful programs to children, youth and their families.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion / Antiracism
The work to dismantle racism and activate equity is paramount. Blaze Consulting Group tailors training in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to the unique needs of each partner agency. Our diverse DEI consulting team can provide assessments of an organization’s current reality and offer training and consulting packages that range from a 1-day engagement to a 3-year initiative.
